  This is the worst retail customer service that my wife and I have ever experienced! They don't appear to have any interest in actually making a sale! "We're interested in buying this floor model couch. Will you honor a Pottery Barn coupon that we received in the mail?" "No" (the next day) "We've decided to purchase the couch anyways. Is it still available?" "Yes" (calls back later in the day) "The couch cannot be picked up today. A replacement floor model hasn't arrived yet." "Do you want to sell this couch, or don't you?" "I'm sorry. You can buy it, but you can't pick it up." "When could we pick it up?" "We don't know." "Will you at least cover it, or move it to the back of the store, so that strangers won't sit on our purchase?" "No." Nice job, Pottery Barn. Not only have you lost this sale, but you've lost two customers for life.
