  I approached the register and the first thing the cashier ( whose name is Kanubhai) said to me is, "oh no, I'm sorry but we are not accepting any Lone Star cards (which is a public welfare assistance and food stamp card) payments at this time." I was appalled. I don't even, nor have I ever, received public welfare of any kind. He didn't say "hello" or even ask me what method of payment I was going to use. He just assumed that I was gonna whip out a food stamp card. What bothered me the most is that he didn't make that statement to any other customers. It was so incredibly rude. FYI to ExxonMobil, please tell your employees that not every young, black mother who enters your store is on welfare so don't assume that they are.
