Reviews about Heights Home Products

I was looking for some very specific bathroom fixtures. I did not have a make, model or any type of number. Mike Carey at HHP went to work for me. I only provided a picture, yet he found it (both of them). He gave me the information and a cost (with local delivery). As a discriminating consumer, I shopped around and found the same items for sale. The items I found were the same, yet cost 1/3 more elsewhere. I was very appreciative of the honest information and straightforward pricing. I have since received the product in a timely manner and in great condition, HHP even overpacked to ensure delivery in the condition promised. These are not the most expensive group of items in their inventory but I was very well pleased with the professionalism with which I was treated. When I need a new dishwasher, I am going back to them first.

Last week I purchased a refrigerator from Michael @ Heights Home Products. At his request I paid in full by credit card through the QuickBooks invoice he sent me. He promised to deliver appliance in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. He promised to replace a door and to remove some scuff marks on the outside by the handles. If need be, he would replace the handles. The next day he left a message letting me know that he was backing out of the deal without giving me choice In the matter. He made a number of unsubstantiated and weak excuses: “that I wouldn’t like the refrigerator in the condition it was in”, that there were “scuffs on the interior that he hadn’t noticed”, the door he purchased to replace old door “might be the wrong door” and that “the refrigerator was no longer under warranty” as he had originally represented. He said he “couldn’t sell it to me” in the condition it was in and made no attempt to make things right. He did refund my money without question. I sensed that in our conversation and was not disclosing the truth. Perhaps Michael over promised or just sold it to someone else. I asked him for proof of what he had claimed and he didn’t offer it up. When I called him out on his breach of integrity in our phone call, he agreed with my judgment, apologized and quickly hung up. I hope this is an anomaly in his business dealings. Proceed with caution! I was very disappointed.
