  They carry lots of stuff and typically have good prices BUT I've never had any luck finding someone to help with the exercise equipment. Seriously, how do they sell it when you can never find an associate to assist you? I have purchased equipment here but I had to have an associate paged twice to sell it to me. I was going to buy a workout bike today but again no one was around. I resorted to looking up details online. At that point I decided the competition sells for the same price & probably will answer ?s so I'm going there. Inconvenient? Yep. Especially since I was in Academy. Apparently they don't need my $, lol. This was the 4th time I've gone in looking for exercise equipment but I've only purchased the once when the price was too good to pass on. Other than that dept you can usually find help and good variety of items.

  The only reason they get 1 star is because 0 is not an option. Half the store employees are Hispanic and refuse to assist any white customers in the store. I was flat out refused when I asked for help finding a shoe. When I asked for a manager they refused by saying they don't speak English. Manager also refused to come out of his office because 6 people had amassed up front to complain. Bottom line white people are not welcomed to shop in this store.

  I usually buy most my fishing gear and tackle here. They have pretty awesome night crawlers here too. Recent started buying ammo here before hitting the shooting range. Great value and savings here, and awesome helpful staff. People here are very knowledgeable not just staff but other customers too! Great place to gather tips for the outdoors!
